Another important storage tip worth sharing is, make sure the storage container you are using is appropriately sized. It shouldn’t be too small as this can degrade the flower and neither it should be too big, as this only creates a large air space which can cause the flower to dry quickly.

The Don’ts of Cannabis Flower Storage

As far as the don’ts are concerned, the most important thing to remember is, don’t let the buds break. It can affect the potency of the flower.

Also, storing cannabis in the refrigerator is a big “NO”. Many people do it to keep humidity levels low, but if you store your stock of cannabis at low humidity levels, you risk turning it dry.

Lastly, completely avoid using a plastic container to store your cannabis flower. Plastic creates static electricity and it can pull the cannabinoid-containing-trichomes off the flower.
